Team EnviroVantage

Scott Knightly – Founder & President

EnviroVantage Owner/President Scott Knightly is a pioneer in the abatement industry. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire’s Whittemore School of Business & Economics, he began doing what he loved most-restoring old homes and historic buildings in New Hampshire. The trouble was that he kept running into lead paint and there were no state or federal guidelines for its safe removal.

Realizing the tremendous need for inspection and abatement, Scott formed Lead Source, the first licensed lead abatement contractor in New Hampshire. Knightly’s company quickly grew to tackle other contaminants found in buildings, including asbestos, mold, PCB’s and mercury.

In time, the processes and practices Knightly developed as New Hampshire’s first Private Lead Contractor were adopted as state regulations in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts, and EnviroVantage became a regional leader in environmental clean-up and historic restoration.

Scott plays a prominent role in the industry sitting on the State of NH Asbestos Advisory Board, the State of NH Lead Advisory Board, the Board of Directors for the National Demolition Association and is 2nd Vice Chair of the Associated Builders and Contractors NH/VT chapter.
