Founding
- Founded on May 17, 1985 by Scott Knightly in New Hampshire.
- Scott Knightly assisted the NH legislature in writing the state's lead abatement and licensing laws.
- 1989 – Became the first Licensed Lead Inspector and Contractor in NH – License C001.
- 1994 – Expanded abatement activities in NH to include asbestos, PCB’s, and demolition services.
- 1994 – Became licensed to work in Maine and Massachusetts as a Lead and Asbestos Contractor.
Recent Company Growth
In 2018, EnviroVantage acquired EnviroTech Clean Air, Inc. which was established in 1988 as an HVAC Cleaning and Restoration company and was among the first members of the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA). EnviroTech was awarded projects to help restore air quality within buildings near Ground Zero after 9/11, as well as a highly technical mold remediation & duct cleaning project within the Air Control Town for the Detroit Airport. We still employ many of the great employees that helped EnviroTech succeed.
In 2020, EnviroVantage launched a Soil & Groundwater division to include stand-alone soil and groundwater remediation projects. EnviroVantage has always addressed the removal and remediation of the PCB-, lead-, and asbestos-impacted building materials, and with strategic hires are now able to offer a full suite of environmental services to our clients.
