Spanning the Missouri River for over two miles, the Fort Randall Dam is the 32nd largest dam in the world and is currently operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). As part of the USACE Hydropower Modernization Program, EnviroVantage competed in a full and open single award task order contract (SATOC) for asbestos and heavy metals dust cleaning. We were successfully awarded as prime contractor with contract #W9128F19P0143.
We performed this work during scheduled shutdowns in 2020, which made achieving project milestones and staying on schedule even more critical to a successful execution.
Crews were also able to maintain a consistent work schedule while implementing safe work practices through the COVID-19 pandemic.
